IICO and Charitable Organizations 

IICO does not aim at replacing other charitable organizations that already exist but rather it cooperates with them, complements their efforts, offers support to them whenever possible, and coordinates with them on humanitarian work of mutual interest.
 
In order to insure the global nature of its work IICO is working with many regional/ international charitable organizations around the world for the welfare of the poor societies.
 
Due to the sincere and continuous efforts of  IICO in charitable activites, IICO has gained the respect of  international/regional organizations and developed excellent working relationships with them for the benefit of the needy. IICO has also established good cooperative  relationships with many local/regional charitable organizations.
 
IICO is an active member in numerous international United Nations institutes such as : UNHCR (UN High Commissioner for Refugees), UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization), FAO (Food, Agriculture Organization), and IFAD (International Fund for Agriculture Development).
 
IICO participated in many meetings, seminars, and conferences of these organizations. IICO had conducted some studies with  IFAD (International Fund for Agriculture Development). IICO toke part in some joint activities with IFAD in training and rehabilitation programs in poor countries. IFAD participated in planning and offered technical and financial support to the programs.
 
IICO has very special cooperative relationship with UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization) through its main office in Paris, regional offices in Amman and Beirut.
 
IICO participated in the seminars conducted by UNESCO for discussing the design of integrated training programs in poor countries.
 
IICO is also coordinating with ILO (International Labor Organization) through its office in Kuwait in programs for professional training for the needy.
 
IICO is fully cooperating and coordinating with UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) through its main office in Geneva and its office in Kuwait in relief aids and preparedness for disasters.
 
The IICO has signed a mutual cooperation agreement with IISESCO (International Islamic Education, Science, Culture Organization) through which many cultural programs, seminars, and conferences were arranged and co-sponsored.
 
IICO held a cooperation agreement with IISESCO and attended three active sessions in Tunisia, Chad, and Jordan for the benefit of poor Arab and Islamic countries.
 
IICO is coordinating with World Islamic Council for Da'awah and relief  (Egypt), Moslem World League  (MWL) - Saudi Arabia, House of Zakat in Cairo, Egypt in spreading Islamic awareness and virtues all over the Islamic world. 
 
IICO is actively cooperating with the international community  in finding innovative solutions to the problem of poverty in developing countries which is crippling their progress. IICO  attended international conferences which dealt the  with the problem of poverty in the world; last of them was the conference of UN - Food, Agriculture Organization (FAO) which was held in Rome.
