Orphans
Sponsorship program |
|
|
|
◙
This program offers individuals the opportunity
to sponsor orphans from various countries around the
world. The cost of sponsoring an orphan is as little as
U.S.$ 33 per month or 10 K.D or their equivalent in any
other currency.
◙
IICO keeps the sponsors in touch with those who
are taking care of the orphans and regularly informs
them about the orphans well being, needs, and progress
in schools and other activities through periodic reports
and pictures of the orphan. |
|
 |
| |
|
Orphans Waqf (Trust) |
|
|
|
◙
IICO is offering "Orphans Waqf"
project for supporting orphans. The profits generated
from this Waqf (trust) are spent on sponsoring orphans,
building, running, and maintaining orphanages in many
poor countries all over the world.
◙ One share of any Waqf project is only U.S. $1000
or 300 K.D or their equivalent in any other currency.

Building and supporting orphanages |
|
|
|
◙
IICO builds, runs, and supports
orphanages to accommodate orphans in many countries. Some of
these orphanages are part of integrated community service
centers which often includes, in addition to the orphanage, a
mosque, a health clinic, a productive project, a water well,
and a school to insure good education for the orphans and the
entire community.
◙
As an example is the Social Services
Center in the capitol of Burkina Faso in Africa and the Orphan
village in Uganda.
◙
These orphanages do not only provide the basic needs of
the orphans but also insure a secure and caring environment in
which the children can experience love, achieve
self-confidence, and receive good upbringing.
◙
Moreover, IICO is working hard to raise the standard of
living of the orphans through constant improvement of the
available facilities to enable them to live a normal life,
become active members in their community, and thus ensure a
better and brighter future for them.

conditions.

IICO's committees: Committee for Palestine,
Committee for Asia, "Help your brother" Committee, as
well as Women's Committee are actively involved in
projects for sponsoring and supporting orphans,
destitute children, widows, and poor families. |
