يعد
توفير المياه الصالحة للاستهلاك من أهم
احتياجات المجتمعات الفقيرة الأساسية. و
لذلك تهتم الهيئة بحفر الآبار لتأمين
المياه النظيفة للشرب والاستخدامات
اليومية وكذلك الري.
وقد
قامت الهيئة بحفر الكثير من الآبار خاصة
في قارتي أفريقيا وآسيا و خاصة فى البلدان
المنكوبة بالجفاف والمجاعات مثل الصومال
والهند وباكستان والنيجر وبنين وغانا
وبوركينافاسو والسودان والنيبال.

IICO
works hard to provide poor communities with their essential needs of water
to improve their living conditions. IICO has drilled surface and artesian wells
in many countries particularly those that were afflicted with drought.
Many wells are drilled to supply farms, agricultural projects, mosques, and Islamic
centers with water. |
