Empowerment of poor communities:
Poverty is the most urgent, and challenging problem facing
humankind as it brings social division, social unrest, and
disharmony and hence high rate of crimes. Poverty affects not only
the poor but rather the whole community and not only poor
countries but the entire globe.
Studies stressed that unless the real causes of poverty are
uprooted it can not be eradicated. The key to poverty eradication
is the empowerment of the poor and to give them the opportunity to
be active agents of their own development.
For these reasons IICO adopted policy of empowering the needy so
that they become self-sufficient.

best way possible to make them live in dignity and never be in
need again.
